 South Korea - The Korea Communications Commission (KCC) announced on Sunday that it plans to spend $24.6 billion over the next five years to increase the nation's Internet broadband infrastructure to support country-wide 1 Gbps Internet access, and wireless services of 10 Mbps, roughly 10x faster than their current highest-end offerings.
