Collective Consciousness Shift
Many believe that the main change that will be taking place will be a global consciousness shift.

Author: Sol Luckman, www.potentiation.net Source: http://mayanprophecy2012.blogspot.com/2009/01/dna-evolution-consciousness-shift-in.html Are you aware that a Shift in human consciousness is occurring even as you read these words that employs celestial triggers such as supernovas and Earth's alignment with Galactic Center in the years leading up to 2012 to trigger the evolution of our species? This Shift has been documented in a stimulating multimedia presentation entitled “Preparing for the Shift,” by Barry and Janae Weinhold, Ph.D.s. Over decades devoted to the study of consciousness and evolution, the Weinholds, both trained psychologists, have gathered overwhelming evidence that humanity is in the middle of a long-awaited Shift in consciousness predicted in hundreds of indigenous cultures worldwide.
Today this Shift is visible nearly every time you open a newspaper or turn on the TV. It can be seen in the breakdown of many old structures such as those that underpin governments, churches and corporations, as well as in families and individuals. It is also evident in the ecological breakdown of numerous Earth systems, a widespread perception time is accelerating, drastic changes in weather patterns, more people feeling overwhelmed by modern life's complexity, and increased polarization between groups, religions, and regions.
Fortunately, along with signs of breakdown, the Weinholds emphasize there is also considerable evidence of breakthrough: the appearance of stunningly gifted children in unprecedented numbers, the emergence of innovative and integrated healing modalities, people becoming less “religious” and more “spiritual,” and the dawning of new communities and social structures based on servant leadership and other partnership principles.
The significance of the winter solstice on December 21, 2012, according to the Mayan, Aztec, Incan and Hopi traditions, is that this date marks the close of several cycles of time. The first is the end of the 26,000-year Mayan calendar, also called a “precession” and the Annus Magnus (“Great Year”), considered by many a gestational or birth cycle for Earth. Mayan timekeepers believe that human evolution unfolds as a result of such precisely calibrated master cycles of time. They predict that Earth and humanity are about to be birthed into a new reality based on unity predicated on a dramatic advance in consciousness.
From a Mayan perspective, the Weinholds ask, “What began 26,000 years ago?” Their extensive psychohistorical research indicates this marked the beginning of humanity's psychological individuation. In human terms, becoming “individuated” means moving from being unconsciously united with the Creator or Ground of Being, to choosing to become divided from the Creator and developing separate individual consciousness, to finally returning to the Creator as conscious, aware individuals. Once people fully individuate, it becomes possible for them to make empowered, discerning choices and use intention to co-create reality with Source–or perhaps more accurately, to create reality as Source.
The second cycle of time ending in 2012 highlighted in “Preparing for the Shift” is the close of the Galactic Year. It takes 225 million Earth years for the Milky Way Galaxy to make one complete rotation in the sky, which is believed to be a birth cycle for our galaxy. From a galactic perspective, the Weinholds ask, “What was conceived on Earth 225 million years ago?”
They point out this was when Earth's landmass, Pangaea, began separating into what we now know as the seven continents. This process of planetary individuation not only correlates with continental drift theory; my research indicates there is also an energetic correspondence between Earth's twelve tectonic plates responsible for continental drift and the twelve pairs of cranial nerves in the human brain, which are themselves linked to the biblical Twelve Tribes. Considered together, this evidence suggests that Earth, like humans, has undergone her own “separating out” or individuation. Based on such interconnectedness, it is also reasonable to expect that as human consciousness exponentially increases, Earth will also undergo a significant–and observable–transformation.
Astronomers studying Galactic Center report that it periodically becomes extremely active. During these episodes, it spews out fierce barrages of cosmic energy equal to thousands of supernova explosions. These outbursts are the most energetic phenomenon in the known universe. A growing number of researchers such as Sergey Smelyakov, author of a fascinating paper entitled “The Auric Time Scale and the Mayan Factor,” in addition to many indigenous peoples worldwide, theorize that as Galactic Center becomes more energized, it catalyzes human evolution through frequency emissions in the form of higher-dimensional “torsion” waves transmitted to Earth via the sun.
A comprehensive scientific model for the “Energetic Engine of Evolution” has been proposed by David Wilcock, a highly gifted psychic and speculative scientist whose theory of “Evolution as 'Intelligent Design'” deserves summarizing. Citing the work of a vanguard of researchers, Wilcock presents a model that unites many disciplines and provides several critical missing pieces to the evolutionary puzzle. In his own words, this provocative model “suggests that humanity is on the verge of a near-spontaneous metamorphosis into a more highly evolved state of consciousness.”
Basing his analysis on the realization, embraced by more and more of today's scientists, that Darwinian evolutionary theory is “extinct,” Wilcock observes that the “probabilities that DNA could evolve by 'random mutation' are so minute as to be utterly laughable–akin to the idea that if you have enough monkeys tapping away on typewriters, one of them will eventually produce a complete Shakespearean play.” Far surpassing the reach of gradual, incremental evolution, which certainly occurs as environmental adaptation, the fossil record from all over the planet makes it abundantly clear that species regularly evolve in heretofore inexplicable leaps and bounds, skipping what would seem from a Darwinian perspective to be crucial evolutionary phases. At the top of a long list of species whose evolution has baffled science is the human species.
Although for more than a century a “missing link” has been assumed to exist based on largely unchallenged Darwinian presumptions, scientists have never managed to discover it. “When we consider that the size of the brain literally doubled between that of humanity's apparent ancestors and ourselves, with no evidence of a smooth transformation whatsoever,” writes David Wilcock, “once again we see a spontaneous evolution of the creatures on Earth.” One scientist associated with National Geographic, studying the intricate bone carvings dating to 70,000 B.C.E. found at Blombos Cave in South Africa, concluded that behavioral evolution mirrors anatomical development–an important observation meaning, in David Wilcock’s words, that “spontaneous evolution is not simply physiological, but consciousness-related as well. When a new bodily form has emerged, consciousness changes appear to occur.”
Moreover, as indicated by the Mayan calendar, rather than in fits and starts, such evolutionary fast-forwards of physiology and consciousness happen in organized, predictable cycles. Theorizing a “harmonic relationship” between the 26,000-year Mayan calendar and 26-million-year period between extinctions/evolutionary leaps in the fossil record, Wilcock notes that all Earth species have suddenly evolved, or metamorphosed, every 26 million years, making a strong case for “an outside energetic influence that operates in a regular, cyclic fashion.”
To answer the question what outside energetic influence is responsible for these rhythmic evolutionary revolutions, it is necessary to factor in the concept of torsion energy or universal creative consciousness. Some writers, most notably Barbara Hand Clow, have focused attention on something called the Photon Belt or Photon Band, which can be envisioned as a torsion-wave “light lattice” connecting Earth via our sun to the Galactic Center that serves as a guiding data communication network for human and planetary evolution.
While some astronomers have scoffed at the notion of a Photon Band, other scientists who grasp the higher-dimensional nature of this network's light understand that it not only exists but plays a critical role in cosmic evolution. Wilcock's research indicates that something very much like a Photon Band most definitely exists as lines of higher-dimensional torsion radiation emanating from the Galactic Center. Both Wilcock and Clow envision the Photon Band as tracing figure-eights throughout the spiraling pattern of the Milky Way Galaxy (see figure below). It appears from Dr. Nikolai Kozyrev's research involving aether that such looping “zero point” or torsion energy based on the phi ratio (1.6180339) is, among other things, directly responsible for our cyclical experience of time.
Recalling the aether theories of Kozyrev, fellow Russian scientist Sergey Smelyakov's research demonstrates that the harmonic vibrations of phi, also referred to as the Golden Mean and Fibonacci sequence, inform the very fabric of space-time. Mathematically, the Photon Band appears to be structured on phi, producing set cosmic intervals the Mayans were aware of when constructing their uncannily accurate calendar. Smelyakov's “The Auric Time Scale and the Mayan Factor” compellingly suggests that Earth connects to Galactic Center via our solar system in a harmonic fashion he calls “Solar-planetary Synchronism,” a vibratory relationship based on the Golden Mean.
In an article entitled “The Ultimate Secret of the Mayan Calendar,” Wilcock cites Smelyakov's research, writing that it helps explain the end of the Mayan calendar in geometric terms as an “infinitely-converging end point” in which time appears to “collapse.” This is because time as we experience it follows the imploding spirals of phi much like a finger tracing the cyclical involutions of a conch shell to its centerpoint. History, then, does not exactly repeat itself; it is more like climbing a spiral staircase.
Torsion energy spiraling as the Photon Band from the creative consciousness at the Core of our universe is Wilcock's “Energetic Engine of Evolution.” Because of its curvilinear form, the Photon Band is composed of swaths of lesser and greater density of torsion waves manifesting as higher-dimensional light. As our solar system orbits episodically into galactic regions characterized by greater density of torsion waves (i.e., greater light or consciousness), which it is currently doing, life on our planet, including the living organism that is Earth, is intelligently stimulated to evolve in spectacular ways not only physically but also mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
“By combining the effects of geo-cosmic change with the overall flourishing of humanity in the cultural and spiritual sense,” observes Wilcock, “we see that as the cycle continues to exponentially accelerate its energetic rate of vibration into the 2012-2013 'singularity,' we can expect … rapid increases in human awareness.” This centripetal cycle leads inexorably to a “discontinuous mega-event where 'time and space collapse.'” Perhaps this transformation of our experience of time and space is the truth behind the disjointed description of the “end of days” in the Book of Revelation.
In humans, evolutionary activation occurs as torsion waves stimulate transposons or “jumping DNA” to rewrite the genetic code–a phenomenon supported by a considerable amount of scientific evidence. Bruce Lipton's research unambiguously affirms that cells possess the ability to reprogram their own DNA, with measurable physical results such as otherwise inexplicable dietary modifications in organisms, when environmentally prompted. Dr. Lipton hypothesizes that such rewriting, which is typically beneficial, accounts for up to ninety-eight percent of evolutionary transformation.
Similarly, in a concise but excellent study entitled “Retrotransposons as Engines of Human Bodily Transformation,” biochemist Colm Kelleher addresses the subject of radical genetic adaptation or evolution as a result of what he terms a “transposition burst.” “If one were to hypothesize a transmutation of the human body,” writes Dr. Kelleher, it would be necessary to orchestrate a change, cell by cell, involving the simultaneous silencing of hundreds of genes and the activation of a different set of hundreds more. A transposition burst is a plausible mechanism at the DNA/RNA level that could accomplish such a genome wide change. Transposition bursts comprise the concerted movement of multiple mobile DNA elements from different genetic locations to new positions, sometimes on different chromosomes … Human DNA contains an abundance of the necessary genetic structures to accomplish a transposition burst involving hundreds, or even thousands, of genes.
Referencing a particular DNA sequence containing three different transposon families arranged in beadlike formation, Kelleher theorizes that owing to its tripartite configuration, this DNA sequence would be “an effective participant in large scale transposon mediated genetic change that eventually results in transformation of the human body.”
Perhaps the most undeniable evidence supporting the concept of a torsion life-wave or Photon Band of universal creative consciousness energetically directing the spontaneous formation and development of Earth species comes from Tim Harwood, who calls attention to one of nature's more miraculous phenomena. After caterpillars form their chrysalis during metamorphosis, it is a little-known but very relevant fact that they completely dissolve into a soup of amino acids before reassembling into butterflies. This soup contains no recognizable cells or DNA as it is currently understood, but when the time is right, the torsion life-wave signals the DNA to recombine and, within a matter of days, cells emerge to create new life-forms.
Wilcock concludes that the human species, somewhat like caterpillars entering metamorphosis, is currently “being programmed by the galactic center to become more advanced while … still here in our bodies.” This is made possible because the DNA molecule is like a programmable piece of hardware … so that if you change the energy wave that moves through it, the jumping DNA will encode it into a completely different form. It is therefore possible that as we move into increasingly “intelligent” zones of energy in the galaxy, the DNA energy patterns for the creatures on the planet are all upgraded, and the mutations occur so rapidly–well within one lifetime–that no “transitional” fossils exist.
Earth's movement through a denser area of the Photon Band directly aligned with Galactic Center began around the time of the so-called Harmonic Convergence in 1987, will enter into a historical astronomical alignment around 2012, and will be complete (from our present linear perspective) by about 2016. Over the course of the past two decades, as Wilcock and the Weinholds point out, major Earth, planetary and solar changes–from unprecedented alterations in planetary atmospheres to drastic surges in volcanic and earthquake activity–have been observed. Arguably of greatest significance from our perspective is that the sun is now moving into alignment with Galactic Center. During this transit the sun's magnetic field has increased over 230% and there have been wildly elevated levels of sunspot activity (as reported by NASA and other space agencies) that have transmitted record-breaking waves of electromagnetic (to say nothing of torsion) energy to Earth and, thus, to us.
It is worth noting we are composed of the same substances found in the heavens, so it really is not so odd that celestial events should profoundly impact us. Harvard professor of astronomy Robert Kirshner has remarked that “supernovas created the elements we take for granted–the oxygen we breathe, the calcium in our bones, and the iron in our blood are products of the stars.” Other researchers, observing that most of DNA's amino acids are also found in space, have hypothesized that DNA actually came from space–an increasingly popular theory known as “Panspermia.”
Fascinatingly, Fritz Albert Popp's research in biophotons describes the dying process of cells as virtually identical to that of stars. Just before dying, cells transform into “supernovas” as the light they emit increases in intensity a thousand times before being suddenly extinguished. On a related note, and just as extraordinarily, Galactic Center, our point of origin, is located in the constellation Ophiuchus, “the serpent bearer,” an obvious reference to the spiraling, serpentine helixes of DNA. Here, in ancient symbolism, we find a direct link between the creational torsion waves emitted by Galactic Center and the DNA molecule to which, by all indications, they give rise.
The Vedics were well aware of such an “ener-genetic” connection between Galactic Center and DNA as well as of the many cycles of time ending around 2012, employing the term somvarta to describe the intelligent waves of Core energy responsible for the spontaneous evolution of species. Another ancient concept, the Golden Mean, precisely defines the mathematical relationship between “above” and “below.” The DNA molecule is minutely structured on phi or the Golden Mean, measuring 34 x 21 angstroms for each full helical spiral. Concordantly, the average mean orbit of each of the planets moving away from the sun is also a Fibonacci sequence that translates to almost exactly 1.6180339.

This is an excellent article found on the Long Island Press web site. Source:http://www.longislandpress.com/articles/coverstory/726/ Author:Michael M. Martino Jr. December 24, 2012. I write this knowing there is very little time left for me and the few who have found a place of refuge from the horror—if only for a little while. It began with darkening skies three days ago and has turned into an unimaginable storm of death and despair. The ground has opened up like huge jaws of death, swallowing entire neighborhoods, streets, cars and people. Geysers of steam are rising from the center of the earth, emitting heat that previously was thought to exist only in the depths of hell itself. In the afternoon of December 21, a mountainous ocean wave fed by repeated tremors and massive quakes washed across the land. Those in waterfront communities were killed instantly, their bodies now littering the land like scraps of paper. All at once, the entire Earth seemed to tilt like an amusement park ride, and we became closer to the skies that were now filled with a choking stench of gas and death. The night sky was different than I have ever seen, and despite the cover of smoke the stars seemed to be close enough to touch. It was dazzling, but the beauty of the spectacle escaped me. I have been on foot since the first quake destroyed the road under my car, meeting up with just four others who were able to escape the calamity. We have found some dry land, and from our place we can see towers of smoke and flame for miles. We have seen no other survivors, though I am sure they are out there. The world has changed beyond description. Humankind has been virtually erased from the Earth. The goal is now survival from minute to minute. The temperature has begun to plummet, and ice is forming everywhere, only the remaining fires or hissing columns of steam will prevent a complete Ice Age. There is no communication. Cell phones are reduced to makeshift flashlights if they work at all. And we have yet to see any emergency vehicle of any kind. There is nothing they can do. Nine years ago, the world waited for the new millennium. While most took the event at face value—that of another year passing—many warned of the end of days. Our computer systems were supposed to fail en masse. Some seers warned of floods, massive storms and earthquakes that would lay waste to our land as the antichrist rose to wage a final battle of evil. Thousands literally fled for the hills in anticipation. Aside from some computer system hiccups, nothing happened. But even hardened skeptics would have to agree that Earth has been on a pretty bad streak since the 21st Century began. Tsunamis, hurricanes, famine, disease and war have ravaged the world for eons, but seemed to accelerate in the past decade. For many, September 11, 2001 was enough of a signal that the world had taken a serious turn for the ugly. It made anything possible. Of course, most of these events can be explained in earthly—or human—terms. Science can also explain a lot. Some things cannot, however, be easily dismissed. This year, we grew even closer to the year 2012. It is a year that many have predicted would be the last of the world as we know it. For thousands of years, it has been the target date of a shift in the Earth’s existence that has not been seen since the last Ice Age ended, 11,000 years ago. In the worst case, the Earth’s crust would snap like a twig and all but a few humans would live to tell the story. But in the best case, humans would begin a new age of enlightenment that would include a newfound treaty with the universe. Either way, so many people from different cultures and times in history have prophesized about 2012 that the confluence of evidence and theories cannot be ignored. Clearly, this is not the first time predictions have pointed to the ending of an era on Earth. There have been hundreds over the years, dating back to before the time of Jesus Christ. Some of the predictions have been downright absurd. In 1809, a woman named Mary Bateman said she had a chicken that was laying eggs with printed messages warning of the end and the second coming of Christ. She was exposed as a fraud when someone caught her trying to load the chicken with another egg of doom. William Miller gave birth to the Millerism Movement when he predicted the end of the world between 1843-1844. Of course, it did not happen. Jehovah’s Witnesses have incorrectly predicted the world’s demise several times. In 1982, all of the planets were going to line up and Armageddon would arrive. In 1988, author Edgar Whisenant released his book, 88 Reasons Why the Rapture is in 1988. The following year, he tried to amend his predictions in a follow up book, 89 Reasons Why the Rapture is in 1989 and then updated the text again in 1993 and 1994. In 1991, some Australian doomsayers said Jesus would come to Sydney Harbor. He never made it. On May 5, 2000, some said the planet alignment would spell doom for us all. But like in 1982, there were no affects from the cosmic dance. But we’re talking 2012. Some say it will mark the beginning a beautiful new era of awareness. Others, though, say that this is the end, and being prepared will provide only a small chance of survival—no guarantees. Despite your beliefs, there is enough information about the pending date to take notice. Something remarkable just might be on our horizon. On The Clock While there have been any number of methods 2012 researchers have employed to arrive at their findings, it all seems to start with the Mayan Long Count calendar. The Mayans, a culture dating back to Mesoamerica, had developed a system of writing, mathematics and art. They were also advanced in their measure of time, creating a complex series of calendars around 26,000 years ago—before the last Ice Age. Perhaps their most significant is the 260-day cycle calendar, which has 13 months of 20 days each. This calendar is still utilized in some remote parts of South America. But the 2012 questions emanate from the Mayan’s calendar that was devised around 400 B.C-100 A.D. to measure greater periods of time—the Long Count. This calendar lasts 1,872,000 days—about 5,125 years. In Mayan time 144,000 days make up a baktun—or 394 years, in our world. Using an intricate system of star reading over generations, the Mayans computed the Earth’s position in the galaxy, pinpointing places in the night sky and building a measure of time around their appearances. But the calendar is ending. In Dec., 2012, we will have seen 13 baktun pass. And because of that, many 2012 apocalypse theorists have surmised that the world will subsequently cease. If the Mayans could not see beyond 2012, then it probably won’t exist. So, thousands of people over thousands of years have surmised that Dec. 21, 2012—the day of the winter solstice—will be the last day of the Earth as we know it. Some say that the ancient monument Stonehenge is a calendar of sorts, which is counting down the sunsets until the apocalypse. Many think the ancient pyramids of Egypt foretell our doom. Seers for centuries have predicted a fiery end to the world in 2012, the most famous being the Babe Ruth of scary predictions, Michel de Nostredame—Nostradamus. Predictions or Poems? In the 1500s, Nostradamus gave the world his predictions. He had many private clients—nobles and wealthy people who wanted their fortunes told by the seer. But he had larger, more important messages to deliver. To escape the wrath of religious zealots who thought his soothsayer ways were the work of the devil, Nostradamus wrote in obscure poem form called quatrains. These predictions seemed to focus on wars, pestilence, famine and disasters. But after almost 500 years of constant translation, it is getting difficult to put too much credence in Nostradamus’ theories. “Nostradamus, while no doubt a brilliant seer, has been so heavily over-interpreted that is difficult to know, really, what he predicted,” says Lawrence Joseph, author of the book Apocalypse 2012: An Investigation into Civilization’s End and a well-known voice of the 2012 apocalypse movement. Nostradamus has been said to have predicted many events in history. Both World Wars were predicted, as was Adolf Hitler. He saw the outbreak of the Black Plague and the great fire of 1666 that leveled London. After the Twin Towers fell, a few quatrains were interpreted to foretell the terrorist attacks that day. Some enterprising hoaxers made up a few, too, and spread them around the world via e-mail. Curiously, Nostradamus’ predictions only seem to reveal themselves in hindsight, suddenly becoming relevant after something happens, and even then it is a stretch. Consider his “prophecy” that is considered by many to tell of JFK’s assassination (keep in mind he never provides a date; this could just as well be about Bernie Mac.): “The great man will be struck down in the day by a thunderbolt / An evil deed, foretold by the bearer of a petition / According to the prediction another falls at night time / Conflict at Reims, London, and pestilence in Tuscany.” Disaster enthusiasts believe Nostradamus saw the end coming in 2012 and said so in several quatrains. According to one: “During the appearance of The Bearded Star, the three great princes will be made enemies / The shaky peace on earth will be struck by fire from the skies / Po, The winding Tiber, a serpent placed on the shore / MABUS will soon die, Then will come a horrible slaughter of people and animals / At once vengeance revealed coming from a hundred hands / Thirst and Famine when The Comet shall pass.” Obscure enough for you? Sounds awful, but before you buy into it, here is Nostradamus’ quatrain about the end of the world in 1999: “In the year 1999 and seven months / The Great, King of Terror shall come from the sky / He will bring to life the King of The Mongols / Before and after, Mars reigns happily.” Not The Only One Edgar Cayce, the preeminent seer of the 20th Century, would put himself into a deep trance when he made his predictions. And he, too, saw impending calamity in 2012. “Watch New York, Connecticut and the like. Many portions of the East Coast will be disturbed, as well as many portions of the West Coast, as well as the central portion of the United States. Los Angeles, San Francisco, most of all these will be among those that will be destroyed before New York, or New York City itself, will in the main disappear,” predicted Cayce, who died in 1945. “This will be another generation though, here; while the southern portions of Carolina, Georgia, these will disappear. This will be much sooner. The waters of the Great Lakes will empty into the Gulf of Mexico.” Cayce’s 2012 prediction is pretty terrifying stuff. But Cayce was generally not known for these types of predictions. He spent more time helping the infirm with his predictions, and is considered the grandfather of the New Age movement. Yet his view of 2012 is clear and frightening. Cayce was also a believer in the lost civilization of Atlantis, which he said was not near Greece but instead in the Caribbean. Its people were highly advanced, having power and flying machines, all the while drawing their energy from a crystal. A Calendar of Doom or hope? There’s a fortune teller or “psychic” grandmother on almost every street. There are horoscopes and modern seers in almost any newspaper. Predictions abound, and have so for years. Humans would have been extinct a million times over if even a fraction of these predictions had come to pass. With so many false alarms, it seems difficult to react to 2012 predictions with anything other than a yawn. But there is something more profound in the termination of the Mayan’s Long Count calendar. While some have used the calendar’s end to signal doom, there is no mention of the end of days. In fact, far from it. “The Mayan material which relates to the World Age doctrine and cycle endings, like the one in 2012, is all about transformation and renewal,” says John Major Jenkins, one of the leading voices in Mayan research. “The so-called ‘theories of destruction’ are expected marketing ploys—Hollywood doing what it does. Second, a choice to plug into the Mayan wisdom at an extremely superficial level, ignoring the deeper and more profound teachings. And, pseudoscience theories that are demonstrably flawed. “So,” says Jenkins, “It’s not so much about clinging to a ray of hope but rather dispensing with the noise and garbage to look at the real information.” Jenkins made sense of the Mayan Long Count calendar in his groundbreaking book Maya Cosmogenesis 2012. Jenkins maintains that on Dec. 21, 2012 the planet will not break down into terrifying calamity but instead we will enter a new age of enlightenment, where humans will begin to understand this world a little better, and the relationship between Earth and humans becomes a little clearer. Daniel Pinchbeck, author and co-founder of www.realitysandwich.com, has researched the Mayan’s use of psychedelics in their rituals. He believes these substances could have played a part in their creations and predictions. “The Classic Maya appear to be shamanic scientists who explored non-ordinary states in their religious practices, using psychedelic substances and other means,” says Pinchbeck. “Psychedelic experiences can give you downloads of information and insight into the past, present, and also the future. It is almost as if there is a nonlocal source of sentience and wisdom that becomes accessible through psychedelic experience. My assumption is that the Maya combined rigorous study of the universe with rigorous exploration of psychedelic states to develop the system of knowledge embedded in their calendar.” As far as predictions by seers such as Nostradamus, Jenkins has no time for the apocalyptic visions. “The Nostradamus prophecies that are allegedly connected with 2012 are, in my opinion, manufactured by the media,” says Jenkins. “Nostradamus’ questionable 2012 prophecies sell better than the Mayan ideas of transformation and renewal because Nostradamus emphasizes sensationalized cataclysm. See how that works?” Jenkins is not the only one who thinks 2012 doomsday prophecies—especially those based on the Mayan calendar—are hogwash. “There is nothing in any Mayan source to indicate that this will be any sort of calamity or end of days. The cycle will simply repeat,” says John Justeson, Ph.D., a preeminent expert in Mayan culture and linguistics. “There are some who have tried to find something cosmic going on that this date corresponds to. But every qualified specialist considers these speculations to be complete nonsense.” So, were the Mayans trying to tell us to beware, or be aware? “Beware is a fear-based word. Being aware requires opening up, transcending fear,” says Jenkins. “But…one might say that the Mayan’s spiritual teachings for cycle endings, that is, 2012, involve a personal transformation, getting back in touch with one’s center, opening up to a larger, more inclusive ‘unity consciousness’ that is not blinded by the self-serving dictates of egoism.” Jenkins does not believe that anything at all will happen on Dec. 21, 2012 and he is adamant about his position. “First, such a statement is a fallacy of predetermination that I don’t ascribe to. Second, as I [already] sketched, positive transformation is a process that requires the conscious and willing participation of human beings.” The Mayans should know. The Classic Mayan civilization, which Jenkins says lived in the Peten rainforest of Guatemala, faced its own demons, and, according to Jenkins, disappeared by “a combination of greed, corruption and drought brought on by unsustainable burning.” Despite popular thinking, Jenkins says the Mayans are not extinct, but rather, “there are 6,000,000 pureblood Maya living in the highlands of Guatemala, preserving many of their ancient traditions.” If we are ready to grow as a race, then we should be open to possibilities the Mayans left open to us. We will be entering a new age in the cycle of life, moving from the sign of Pisces to Aquarius. It could be a golden era. But some doubt that could even happen—at least not for a long time—because according to their beliefs, on Dec. 21, 2012, the world as we know it will be torn asunder. Untold Destruction Patrick Geryl was working toward a carefree life of travel and luxury in his retirement. For years, he invested wisely and lived a lifestyle he hoped would help him survive well beyond his expected years. The Dutch author subscribed to a hunger diet—eating only when necessary and mostly fruit and vegetables, in Geryl’s case—which he believed would increase his lifespan. He exercised. But then he read a book called The Mayan Prophecies by Adrian Gilbert and Maurice Cotterell, published in 1996, and he has never been the same. The book supposedly broke the Mayan code, and it predicted the worst. “Then [my] life’s dream fell to pieces,” says Geryl. “I was deeply shocked. An enormous disaster was awaiting us, one without its equal. I was paralyzed. Then I cursed and swore wholeheartedly. After all, I could only collect my pension insurances in 2015!” Geryl’s vision—and that of others who believe 2012 will spell the end of the Earth—is beyond terrifying. He speaks of destruction so unthinkable, so complete, that almost every living thing will be wiped off the faced of the globe. According to these predictions, on Dec. 21, 2012, the magnetic field of the Sun will switch, as will our North and South Poles. When this happens, the sun will begin emitting huge clouds of electromagnetic particles into space. These particles will wipe out our satellite technology instantly and consequently all electronic devices. Planes would fall from the sky. Then the real horror will begin. “It will start with the heating up of the inner core of the Earth and the oceans. That will release the methane hydrates. After that a thick, stinking mist will be around the Earth. A few hours later, earthquakes will make ground zero from all buildings in the world. Then the volcanoes start working. And that is the prelude to cataclysm,” says Geryl. “The planet will tilt some thousands of miles in a couple of hours. Looking up at the sky it will seem as if the sky is coming down. Earth plates are moving, mountains are rising where first there was nothing, land parts break open and collapse, mountains collapse, land is sinking into the ocean, volcanoes erupt in many places.” The Earth’s crust, under huge stress from its shifting magnetism, will break, resulting in earthquakes so large almost no structure will survive. Supervolcanoes would explode, tearing the ground like paper and creating rivers of lava. The air will be filled with poison gas. Tidal waves hundreds of feet high will form and sweep across the land. If you want to think locally, then imagine catching a wave in Syosset. It will probably be the same wave that, moments before, also swallowed Manhattan. In the ensuing chaos, the Earth’s climate will be thrown into disarray, and we will almost immediately begin a new Ice Age. Those who are unlucky enough to survive the initial hell will have to fight every day to survive, as most food supplies will be completely obliterated. “In short,” Geryl concludes, “The most terrible nightmare cannot be terrible enough to describe this world’s destruction.” This Is Gonna Be Bad There are few modern horrors that even compare. The closest thing, says author Lawrence Joseph, was Hurricane Katrina. The storm was massive and illustrates the possible scope of such storms. The incredible failure of the authorities and infrastructure gave the world a taste of what can happen. But beyond that, says Joseph, the fall of 2005, when Katrina came ashore, was one of the stormiest in recorded history, with Katrina being joined in the history books by Wilma, Rita and other tempests. Joseph points out, though, that the storms on Earth may not have been the most troubling. That fall, the surface of the sun was supposed to be docile, free of any major storms. But the opposite occurred. It was one of the worst in history. It is due to repeat itself, too. “Guess when the next solar climax is due, according to an overwhelming consensus of astronomers,” says Joseph. “Late 2012.” By the way, there is science to back up some of the theories of pole reversal. Many scientists believe that the reversal of the North and South Poles is inevitable, as evidence shows it has happened in the past. The term is “precession”—the rotational axis of the Earth. Experts use the example of the Earth as a wobbling top, still spinning but becoming unstable in its rotation. When we approach Dec. 21, 2012, the planets will be aligned creating a gravitational pull that interrupts our rotational axis, like slamming a car into reverse from drive. The stress will be too much. It’s not all about physical cataclysm. One outspoken supporter of the 2012 apocalypse, Carlos Barrios, says the economy is another sign that we are on the road to world ruin. As banks begin to fail around the globe, civil unrest will escalate. The psyche of the human race will be forever changed. In the end, if there is only one message tying together all schools of thought about 2012, it is that people have to change, and fast. With the ushering in of a new age, humans will have the opportunity to improve the way we live. The Earth is a living thing, and needs to be treated as such. Certainly, Geryl’s vision of doomsday depicts Earth as a vicious animal, ridding itself of all its disease—like a dog shaking off fleas. And either way, we need to be physically, spiritually and psychologically ready. If there is a golden age on the horizon, it would be sad to miss it if we were busy voting for the next American Idol. And if the Earth does explode—well, it would be nice to have peace with your maker, whoever it may be. Geryl has a lengthy plan for survival. He covers most everything, and even suggests things people would need to start a new civilization. Books, for one, need to be saved, because most will be turned into ash. And seeds of all kinds are important, because all food supply will be eradicated. Geryl plans to be in the mountains of South Africa, because when the Earth breaks apart, most of the nuclear reactors will go with it, and there are only two in that part of the world. There is no promise it will work out, but he believes his odds will be increased. By the way, forget about Long Island. And the Catskills offer no hope, either. They will probably be pebbles. Jenkins, the Mayan expert, is not worried at all. He will continue his research on Mayan culture, and says that the 13-baktun cycle of the Mayan Long Count will begin again. But the past eight years in global history, in his estimation, are nothing to be excited about. He cites the rise of George W. Bush as conforming “to the Mayan ‘prophecy’ for the cycle ending.” People like Joseph and Geryl are convinced they know what’s coming—and they are getting ready. Despite knowing what he knows, Pinchbeck admits he needs more time. “I don’t know about anybody else, but I am certainly not prepared for it,” says Pinchbeck. Maybe 2012 is just a euphemism for the Golden Rule. It’s time to live right. Maybe it is our final warning—and if we behave, the Mayan cycle will begin again, forecasting the next great apocalypse 26,000 years from Dec. 21. 2012. We’ve been warned. |
The awakening of mankind has begun. We are becoming more globally aware than ever before.
This site is here to help promote the actions of love and peace throughout the world so we may all prepare and "survive" whatever physical changes are in store for our planet in this coming age.
There are many who will theorize that it is every man for himself when it comes down to it. Survival of the fittest individual.
Yet, we know otherwise. We know the truth. The truth is a single strand of thread is easily broken but several strands together is exponentially stronger than each individual strand. We will only survive as a RACE if we open up our hearts, our minds, our souls, our spirits to that which brings us together. Love for mankind.
Giving half of all proceeds from our cafepress.com store sales to the Goodwill is just one way which we have begun helping. Spreading the message of love...enforcing the golden rule...visualizing a beautiful and peaceful planet...meditating and praying as much as possible for our neighbors and our leaders...there are so many other ways to prepare for our future...which has just arrived. |

| I see the future as undetermined and yet predictable. I use my inner vision, or creative imagination, to "see" the end result down a particular time-line. The universe tends to connect the present moment to the future moment in amazing and unexpected ways. Have you found yourself in situations that made you feel psychic because you saw the end result in advance? As for me and the year 2012, I expect the best. Specifically I expect the fundamental oneness of all life to be revealed in new and accessible ways for a growing number of people. So a simplistic summary is I AM READY! I AM PREPARED FOR THE BEST POSSIBLE OUTCOME! Are you? |
On December 21, 2012 Earth will be in alignment with the great black hole at the center of the Milky Way and our sun.
This date in particular happens to coincide with many prophecies.
Many believe it will mark the beginning of a new era of human knowledge, understanding and beliefs.
Many believe it may also coincide with a great disaster which happens to Earth every 26,000 years or so.
What do you believe?
I believe we will begin to finally move away from mysterious religions and holding on to the ancient mythologies of our ancestors and move more toward the understanding that we are all one. We are all part of the Creator and the Creation...in effect we ARE the creator and the created simultaneously, and light, love and energy is what makes us be.
One LOVE.
Technology has advanced so fast(through our collective understanding of so many things from electricity and electrons to dna and cell research) and allowing communication of thoughts and needs to spread instantly throughout the globe. We are approaching a time when we will be able to help each other live on this earth in peace and harmony.
In 2012, we will be humbled. But we, the survivors, the ones who are able to approach the new era with air in our lungs and sunlight on our faces...the ones that make it through the purging, we will have a new understanding of the human race and we will finally bond together.
